A Roomful of Stories

Read by yourself or read to a friend,
Read with a family member—there’s really no end.
Stories are everywhere waiting for you,
Read old time favourites or something brand new;
The Summer Reading Challenge has begun.
40 days in 40 ways promises lots of fun!
No matter your interest, this much is true.
We know in your library there’s something for you!

Kids of the North Burnett, step into a world of imagination and a Roomful of Stories! Summer Reading Club is on again. Participation in the Summer Reading Club is free and is a great way to keep the kids busy and reading over the school holidays.

Join the challenge by collecting a registration form from your local library or join online at Registering online though is separate to registering @ your local library. We encourage you to do both!

The 40-day challenge encourages participants to complete a range of different tasks and practical ways to read and share stories over the summer holidays.
  • Borrow a Book or eResource from your Library
  • Read a book with a non-human character
  • Read a book to your pet or favourite toy
