Scheduled interruption to television and radio reception in the Monto area on Wednesday, 28 March
Ergon has advised that an interruption to the electricity supply to Council’s Monto transmission tower has been scheduled for Wednesday, 28 March from 9.30am for approximately four (4) hours.
The interruption is necessary to connect new customers to the electricity network. Ergon recommends disconnecting sensitive electrical appliances (like PCs and TVs) during an interruption.
During this time there will be no television transmission from the tower and residents may be required to reset their televisions once the transmission is functional again.
Residents are advised that should there be any issues with television reception from the Monto transmission tower following the scheduled maintenance to please phone Council’s Customer Contact Centre on 1300 696 272 (1300 MY NBRC) to process a Customer Service Request.
