North Burnett supports Operation Rebuild Tonga Fundraiser – Saturday 28 April
The North Burnett Mundubbera Social Cohesion Committee will be holding a fundraiser in aid of the Tongan Nation following devastation caused by Tropical Cyclone Gita.
North Burnett Mundubbera Social Cohesion Committee Chairperson, Deputy Mayor Cr Faye Whelan advised that funds raised would be distributed to the islands with most need, possibly to rebuild plantations, schools and health centres.
Social Cohesion Committee partners include Mundubbera Churches Together, North Burnett Social Cohesion Committee Members, as well as the Faith Hope and Charity Group.
The major fundraiser, a Theatre Restaurant will be held at the Mundubbera Community Hall on Saturday, 28 April 2018 commencing 6:00pm.
“Along with the Theatre Restaurant, the event will encompass an auction of Fine Arts and Crafts and other ‘high ticket’ donated items and a multi draw raffle. The night will feature ABC Radio’s Scott Lamond as compere”, Cr Faye Whelan said.

TIME: 6:00pm for 6:30pm start
COST: Cost $30 pp / $75 for a family of four (4) / $10 extra child / Under 3 Free
Cost includes entertainment, meal, and table nibblies. Bar and Non Alcoholic Tiki Bar available.
Theatre Restaurant tickets will be available at North Burnett Regional Council Customer Service Centres and Libraries.
Table booking essential – Bookings close Saturday, 21 April 2018.
Raffle Tickets are available at North Burnett Regional Council Customer Service Centres at Eidsvold, Gayndah and Mundubbera and other Mundubbera businesses.
Raffle tickets are $2 each or three (3) for $5.
