With the bulk of earthworks now complete, the contractor will soon commence work on the forming and steelworks prior to the concrete pour.

The upgraded road is expected to re-open late August 2016, weather permitting. Road users are advised that alternate routes will be available via Rockmelon Lane/Ross Crossing Road and also Malmoe Road during this time.

The road closure will facilitate a more cost effective, quicker and safer project, and when complete, the upgraded road will provide greater flood resilience.

Motorists are requested to travel with extreme care and responsibility, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.  Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst this work is in progress.
