Zonhoven Park, Gayndah – Removal of Trees

Jul 16, 2020 | Front Page Feature, News

Council’s Parks and Open Spaces team have identified some hazards due to tree crowding at Zonhoven Park in Gayndah.

The team have selected trees to be removed to combat the overcrowding and any others which have disease or are a safety risk. The trees have been marked with pink tape.

Council invites the community to contact Council’s Parks and Open Spaces team via phone (1300 696 272) or email (admin@northburnett.qld.gov.au) if you would like to provide feedback on the significance of any of the marked trees. Feedback is required by Friday, 31 July 2020.

Works to remove the trees will commence in August 2020.  We ask that community members please stay away from the area/s whilst works are being completed.
