Waste Management Facility Closures and Kerbside Collection – Good Friday and ANZAC Day 2019
Residents are advised that all Waste Management Facilities will be closed Good Friday, 19 April 2019 and ANZAC day Thursday, 25 April 2019. Waste Management Facilities will resume normal operating hours Friday, 26 April 2019.
Kerbside garbage collections for these days will proceed as per normal arrangements.
To assist with the kerbside collection, residents are reminded that bins should be placed adjacent to the kerb or within 1 metre of the edge of the road on the night before collection, or no later than 6:00am on collection day. Bins should be facing the correct way with wheels facing back to the kerb. Lid should be flush with the top of the bin and no extra rubbish next to the bin. Extra rubbish will not be collected.
Residents are reminded that Council does offer drop off recycling facilities at each of its Waste Management Facilities.
