Waste Management Facilities and Kerbside Collection Christmas/New Year’s Closures

Dec 17, 2019 | Front Page Feature, News

Residents are advised that all Waste Management Facilities will be closed on Wednesday, 25 December (Christmas Day), Thursday, 26 December (Boxing Day) and Wednesday, 1 January 2020 (New Year’s Day).  Facilities will re-open again on each site’s next scheduled opening day.

Kerbside garbage collection for these days will proceed as per normal collection days.

To assist with the kerbside collection, residents are reminded that bins should be placed adjacent to the kerb or within 1 metre of the edge of the road on the night before collection, or before 6:00am on collection day.  Bins should be facing the correct way with wheels facing back to the kerb.  The lid should be flush with the top of the bin and no extra rubbish next to the bin.  Extra rubbish will not be collected.

Residents are reminded that Council does offer drop off recycling facilities at each of its Waste Management Facilities.
