Temporary Road Closure – Philpott Road, Philpott

As part of North Burnett Regional Council’s Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) program, Philpott Road, Philpott (Mundubbera area) will be closed from Monday, 25 February for approximately one (1) month for the purpose of flood recovery works, including the construction of a concrete floodway and culvert at Phillpot Creek.

The upgraded road is expected to re-open Tuesday, 26 March 2019, weather permitting. Road users are advised that the road closure will only apply to the floodway location and the remainder of the road will be open. An alternate route will be available via Shallcross Road during this time.

Motorists are requested to travel with extreme care and responsibility, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.  Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst this work is in progress.
