Temporary Closure – Monto Aerodrome
From Wednesday, 16 November 2016 for approximately one (1) week.
As part of the Royalties for Regions program funded through the Department of State Development, Monto Aerodrome will be closed to all aircraft from 16 November 2016 for approximately one (1) week whilst upgrade of the Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) is undertaken.
Works will involve removal of the old lights, installation of new cabling (which will include excavation of trenches), and installation of new lights and lights systems.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst this work is in progress.
