(16-02-17) Temporary Closure – McConnell Lookout, Gayndah

Residents are advised that the popular McConnell Lookout, located at Renay Robinson Dr, Gayndah will be closed from Friday, 24 February, 2017 for approximately two (2) weeks while upgrade works are undertaken.

The upgraded lookout is expected to re-open on Friday, 10 March 2017, weather permitting.

The works will include the upgrade and extension of the existing fence to increase public safety, along with the replacement of timber handrails and wood fire barbeques. Gravel walking paths in the area will be re-sheeted.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst this work is in progress.
