Show Holiday – Monday 12 August 2019
Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Mount Perry and Monto Areas.
North Burnett residents and visitors to the region are advised that Monday, 12 August 2019 has been declared a public holiday for the North Burnett Region – Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Monto and Mount Perry areas for the purpose of the Royal Queensland Show.
Council Administration Offices, Customer Service Centres, Libraries (incorporating Centrelink & QGap) and Council Depots located in in these townships will be closed on this day. Customer Service Centres and Libraries in these towns will also be closed on Saturday, 10 August 2019 as part of the long weekend.
Community members are advised that Council’s Administration Office/Customer Service Centre, Library and Depot located in Mundubbera will operate under normal operating hours on Saturday, 10 August, and Monday, 12 August 2019, and will assist with any phone enquiries on these day. Friday, 10 May 2019 was declared a public holiday for the North Burnett area of Mundubbera for the purpose of the local annual Show.
