As part of Council’s commitment to maintain reliable delivery of quality potable water to customers, Aquaps Pty Ltd has been engaged to replace several watermains in Gayndah, Mundubbera and Monto from 12 April through to 30 June 2021.
Affected residents will receive information in their letterboxes, however, please be advised of the following disruptions that may occur:
- Council may close traffic lanes and there may be driveway interruptions. If concerned, please park your vehicle on the street, away from the works being undertaken.
- You may notice that your tap water is dirty, Council advises residents to run the taps for 10minutes. If the water does not clear, please contact Council on 1300 696 272 for assistance.
Commencement of the mains replacement will take place in Seeney Street, Gayndah on Monday, 12 April 2021. Followed by Strathdee Street in Mundubbera and Faraday, Kelvin, Lister, and Eyre Streets in Monto. It is estimated that works could take 3-4 weeks in each location.
