Did you know you can now have your rates notice delivered straight to your inbox…  Simply visit Council’s website to sign up. Make sure to have a Rate Notice handy for your initial set-up!

Ratepayers can also change the way they pay their rates with direct debit payments.  Direct debit payments allow you to manage your rates payments in affordable instalments.  Direct Debits are automatically deducted from your nominated bank account.  You choose when the payments start, as well as how often and how much you wish to pay, to suit your budget.  Council will do the rest! To set up a Direct Debit you will need to complete a Direct Debit Request Form available at all Council Administration Offices, on Council’s Website , or can be mailed to you upon telephone request.  If you would like assistance to calculate a suggested payment amount, please contact one of Council’s Rates Officers.

If you have recently changed your address please notify council of the change in writing as soon as possible.  Notification can be via email to admin@northburnett.qld.gov.au, post – PO Box 390, Gayndah QLD 4625 or hand delivered to your local Administration Office.

Council understands that from time to time ratepayers may experience financial difficulties.  In such circumstances ratepayers are encouraged to contact Council as soon as possible to enter into an acceptable payment arrangement.

Should you require further information regarding your rates notice, please contact Council’s rates staff on 1300 696 272 (1300 MY NBRC) or email admin@northburnett.qld.gov.au.
