North Burnett Regional Council Christmas Trading
Residents are advised of the following holiday period closures:
Council Administration Offices, Customer Contact Centres and Libraries (Including QGap and Centrelink services) closed from 3:00pm on Friday, 22 December 2017 and will re-open at 8.30am Tuesday, 2 January 2018.
Waste Management Facilities will be closed Monday, 25 and Tuesday, 26 December 2017 and Monday, 1 January 2018. Normal Operating Hours will then apply.
Kerbside Rubbish Collection will operate as per normal collection dates.
Pools are closed on Christmas Day, Monday, 25 December and Boxing Day, Tuesday, 26 December – Please refer to Council’s website for opening times. Pools may open at times other than those listed at the discretion of the pool lessee.
North Burnett Transport Service will experience no changes to service over the Christmas Period (Normal timetable applies).
From Monday, 25 December 2017 till Tuesday, 2 January 2018, tickets will only be available for purchase via Councils website or on board with the driver.
Please note: If you are going to purchase direct with the driver we recommend you be at your stop location no less than 15 minutes beforehand.
The Monto to Ceratodus Wednesday Service on 27 December 2017 and the Monto to Mundubbera Friday Service on 29 December 2017 will be run on a pre-booked basis only and will be cancelled if bookings are not received by 22 December 2017 (Close of Business).
Please Note: There is no train services available on Christmas Day, 25 December 2017. Please see QLD Rail’s website for further information.
The RM Williams Australian Bush Learning Centre will be open during the Christmas period on the following dates and times:
