Interruption to Water Supply – Monto – 09-11-16
Lyell St, Kelvin St (Rutherford to Dalton St’s), Dalton St (Kelvin to Thomson St’s), Sports Grounds, Retirement Village – Monto.
Council wishes to advise that due to a major water leak at the intersection of Kelvin and Lyell Streets, water supply to premises connected to the Monto Reticulated Water Supply located at Lyell St, Kelvin St (Rutherford to Dalton St’s), Dalton St (Kelvin to Thomson St’s ), Sports Grounds and Retirement Village, Monto, will be interrupted for most of today, Wednesday, 9 November 2016, for emergency water mains repairs.
When reconnected, flushing of taps may be necessary as discoloration of water may occur during the period of work. Note: Please exercise air bleed of hot water system following this scheduled maintenance.
