Gayndah Cemetery incorporates new Remembrance Drive

At the General Meeting held in Eidsvold on Wednesday, 17 October 2018, Council approved the naming of the newly constructed driveway located within the cemetery reserve as ‘Remembrance Drive’.

The newly constructed ‘Remembrance Drive’ will be flanked by a row of pine trees donated by the local community in recognition of the sacrifices of World War One servicemen and women. It is expected that planting will be attended at the end of October in preparation for Remembrance Day commemorations on 11 November 2018.
