Footpath upgrade – Mt Perry Memorial Park

Oct 25, 2019 | Front Page Feature, News

Residents and visitors in the Mt Perry area are advised that upgrades to Mt Perry Memorial Park footpath will be undertaken over the coming week, which will limit access to the public amenities.

Access to the public amenities can be obtained from the Northern side of the Library and town hall, however access via the park is prohibited whilst works are undertaken for safety reasons.  The park will still be accessible during this time, however please stay clear of the work area.

Alternative amenities are located at the Mt Perry Showgrounds on Monto-Mt Perry Road.

The footpath upgrade has been funded through the Queensland Government Work’s for Queensland program.  Works are expected to commence Monday, 28 October 2019, with the project being completed by Friday, 1 November 2019.

Council thanks you for your co-operation in this matter and apologises for any inconvenience this operation may cause. For further enquiries please call Council’s Parks and Open Spaces team on 1300 696 272 (1300 MY NBRC), or email admin@northburnett.qld.gov.au.
