Growing Native Foods workshop – Mundubbera
On-farm income generating ideas with Guest Presenters:
Ms Amanda Garner, Amanda is the current Chair of ANFAB. A broadacre farmer, she has a background in corporate catering & event managing. ANFAB is the peak body representing the native food industry at all levels; growing, processing, marketing, exporting, liasing with Government and conducting research into plants & products.
Dr Geraldine McGuire, Geraldine is the principal of Rainforest Bounty. An environmental scientist, she has worked all over Asia and around the Pacific managing the social & environmental impacts of development projects such as mines. On her farm she grows native timbers, orchard, vegetable & herb species. Rainforest Bounty operates a property which is used for growing & processing gourmet food products which include native ingredients.
Cost is just $10.00 and morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
