Corporate Services Manager

This key leadership role forms a critical part of Council’s Executive Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager Corporate and Community. The Manager is responsible for the effective leadership and management of the Corporate Services Section including Finance, budgeting, ICT, payroll, records management and other Business Support functions including risk management and corporate and operational planning.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team this role will be responsible for the provision of credible leadership, development and maintenance of a performance culture, strategic long term financial planning and organisational decision making, ensuring that all functions of the Corporate Services Section supports the strategic direction and financial sustainability of the Council.

This successful person is expected to have a strong level of skills and expertise in delivering local government financial responsibilities and obligations. CPA and or CA qualifications will be mandatory and post graduate qualifications highly desirable for this role.
