(31-05-2017) Council to trial Saturday morning trading at Biggenden, Eidsvold and Mount Perry

May 31, 2017 | Front Page Feature, News

To complement North Burnett Regional Council’s existing Saturday morning trading at Monto, Mundubbera (Library only) and Gayndah, Council’s remaining Customer Service Centres located at Biggenden, Eidsvold and Mount Perry will soon come aboard during a trial period extending from Saturday, 1st July through to Saturday, 16th December 2017.

During Saturday trading, all customer service and library services will be available to the public, with the exception of QGAP and Centrelink services.

North Burnett Regional Council Mayor Cr Rachel Chambers advised that the trial was a fantastic opportunity for community members who work or are otherwise occupied during Council’s normal business hours to avail themselves of Council’s services at a more convenient time.

“I urge all residents to take advantage of this extended service so that Council can ascertain the community need and determine future trading hours following the trial period,” Mayor Chambers said.

For further information on what services council provides, along with opening times for all of our Centres, please see Council’s website, contact council on 1300 696 272 (1300 MY NBRC), email Council or call in to your local Library, Administration Office or Customer Service Centre.
