2016 North Burnett Christmas Lights Competition
Judging will take place during the week commencing Monday, 12 December 2016.
Get out your Christmas lights and decorations! It’s time to start preparing for the 2016 North Burnett Christmas Lights Competition. Residents and local businesses in the North Burnett are invited to decorate their homes, windows and gardens in the ‘Spirit of Christmas 2016’.
In partnership with the following community organisations, Council has opened nominations to this FREE community event. North Burnett Regional Council proudly sponsors all six townships equally in the competition.

Prizes include:
Best Residence: First $100 Second $50 Third $25
Best Business: First $100 Second $50
Displays are judged according to visual appeal, overall impact, uniqueness, variety of decorations used, safety and tidiness.
To be part of this year’s Christmas Lights Competition, residents are requested to nominate their residence or business by 4.30pm Thursday, 9 December 2016. Nomination Forms can be downloaded here or collected at any of Council’s six Administration Centres / Libraries.
