Temporary disruption- Edward Street, Biggenden

Monday, 19 September through to Tuesday, 27 September 2016 – Weather permitting.

As part of North Burnett Regional Council’s successful 2015 Stronger Communities Programme submission, work is scheduled to commence on the construction of a gazebo in Edward Street, Biggenden on Monday, 19 September.

Council wishes to advise that pedestrian access across Edward Street at this location (between Biggenden Newsagency and Burnett Livestock & Realty – refer map below) will be inaccessible for approximately one week whilst construction is in progress. The gazebo is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday, 27 September, weather permitting.

Appropriate signage will be in place. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extreme care and responsibility, to drive / walk to the prevailing road / pavement conditions and to adhere to signage.  Council apologises for any inconvenience caused whilst this work is being completed and thanks businesses and the public for their co-operation and patience whilst this work is in progress.
