SPORT AND RECREATION – “YOUR SPORT, YOUR FUTURE – HAVE YOUR SAY TODAY”
North Burnett Regional Council has embarked on a project to plan the advancement of sport and recreation facilities and activities over the next 10 years. This project has been made possible through funding received from the Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing under the Sport and Recreation Planning Program, and is being delivered in partnership with South Burnett Regional Council, Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council and local sporting organisations.
Council has engaged specialist consultants, ROSS Planning, to assist with the development of the Plan. Council is keen to better understand how our communities engage in sport and recreational activities and our residents’ dreams and aspirations for the future.
Come along to one of these community meetings to share your experiences and tell us your ideas:
