Nominations close Thursday, 19th January 2017…

 

Nominations for the Queensland Young Achiever Awards close on the 19th of January 2017. If you know an amazing young person, help them to achieve their goals and submit a nomination. These Awards help young people take the next step in their field of endeavour and recognises their hard work.

The Awards aim to recognise Queensland’s outstanding young achievers and acknowledge their efforts. This is your chance to thank someone that has impressed you or touched your life or the lives of those around you.

Nominations are being sought in the following categories:

  • LGIAsuper Community Volunteer Award
  • The Coffee Club Arts and Fashion Award
  • iFly Online Achievement Award
  • BB Print Leadership Award
  • Access Community Services Multicultural Youth Queensland (MyQ) Cultural Diversity Award
  • Kennelly Constructions Aboriginal Achievement Award
  • The University of Queensland Create Change Award

The Queensland Young Achiever Awards will culminate with a Gala Presentation Dinner on Friday, 5th May 2017, at Royal on the Park, Brisbane with over 350 guests expected from across Queensland. Finalists will be presented and winners announced at the event. All nominees that do not make the finals but are able to attend, will also be presented on stage with a framed certificate in recognition of their achievements.

Category winners will each receive a $2,000 thanks to Auswide Bank and a magnificent trophy. One of the seven category winners will be chosen as the Queensland Young Achiever of the Year and will win an additional $2,000 from Auswide Bank and a state trophy.
