Scheduled interruption to television and radio reception in the Monto /Cania View area 13-07-17

Ergon has advised that an interruption to the electricity supply to Council’s Cania View transmission tower and surrounding areas has been scheduled for Thursday, 13 July from 2.00pm for approximately two (2) hours.

The interruption is necessary to replace power poles and improve the electricity network. Ergon recommends disconnecting sensitive electrical appliances (like PCs and TVs) during an interruption.

During this time there will be no television transmission from the tower and residents may be required to reset their televisions once the transmission is functional again.

Residents are advised that should there be any issues with television reception from the Cania View transmission tower following the scheduled maintenance to please phone Council’s Customer Contact Centre on 1300 696 272 (1300 MY NBRC) to process a Customer Service Request.
