Sep 18, 2017 | Front Page Feature, News

Do you know an innovative woman in our region? Are you a regional female founder who is seeking to grow international connections, learn from other female leaders from the Australian and London startup communities, and would like to understand the UK market?

Applications for four regionally-based women to participate in the Startup Catalyst Female Founders Mission to London from 26 November to 2 December 2017 was announced during the recent Governing our Regions held in Maryborough last week. The successful applicants will join a delegation of Queensland founders, investors, and corporate and policy decision-makers.

This mission is open to female founders, investors, corporate innovation leaders, and government policy makers from across Australia who are looking to connect with and learn from other female leaders from the Australian and London startup communities, and who want to understand the UK market and build long-range international networks.

The four successful regional participants will each receive $5,500 support from Advance Queensland to fund the Startup Catalyst mission fee. This covers six nights’ accommodation, breakfasts, organised tours and meetings, including two hosted networking events and one mission dinner. Participants will need to pay for their return international flights, any domestic flights within Australia, and personal out-of-pocket expenses.

Applications close Wednesday, 27 September 2017.
