How do I volunteer at a Clean Up Site as part of Clean Up Australia Day?

To volunteer you can use the Join a Clean Up Site function to search for Clean Up Sites in your local area (by postcode, suburb, council, Site name or Site Supervisor name) on the Clean Up Australia Day website and fill in the registration form. Alternatively you can fill in a registration form on the day.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Clean Up Australia advises that all volunteers dress appropriately for the weather, including closed in shoes. We also advise that you bring a hat, pair of gloves, sunscreen, water and eye protection.

What insurance does Clean Up Australia provide to volunteers during Clean Up Australia Day activities?

All registered and approved Clean Up Australia Day Sites are covered by Clean Up Australia’s Public Liability Insurance. Clean Up Australia does not provide Personal Accident or Injury Cover.
